Lauren Goldberg
Middle School Principal
Lauren Goldberg, Middle School principal, joined Leffell in 2023. Prior to her arrival, she was the middle school principal at the Hannah Senesh Community Day School in Brooklyn, NY from 2020-2023 where she also taught health to students in grades 5-8. From 2006-2020, Ms. Goldberg worked at the Berkeley Carroll School in Brooklyn, NY where she taught seventh- and eighth-grade English and, later, humanities, and held a variety of positions including middle school dean of faculty and middle school dean of students. She began her teaching career at the Castilleja School in Palo Alto, CA where she taught high school English. Ms. Goldberg received a BA in Political Science from Northwestern University, an MA in English Literature from Stanford University, and an MA in Educational Leadership from the Klingenstein Institute at Teachers College.
Ms. Goldberg relocated from Brooklyn to Westchester in 2023 with her husband and two sons. When not at school, she spends time with her family enjoying hiking, biking, skiing, reading, cooking, and traveling.
