Oren and I are both alumni of Schechter Westchester/ The Leffell School is the natural choice for our children. This school is very special to us; in this space, we experienced the most precious moments of our childhood and adolescence, and built memories that we continue to cherish. Schechter Westchester is where we met one another and formed deep connections with a close-knit group of friends who remain our core community today. This special group shares holidays, we celebrate marriages, births, joys, and we support one another through difficult times. It is our hope that our daughters can find lifelong friends and be enveloped by a nurturing community of peers who are bonded by a love for one another along with a dedication to Judaism and Israel. In our household, Ahavat Yisrael and Judaism remain central. As Schechter students, we experienced a deep immersion in our culture and religion that enriched our identities as Jews and Zionists; it’s paramount that this strong identity is formed and felt by our children as they grow in their journey at The Leffell School, so they too can carry their love of Israel and Judaism with their peers into the future.
