Rabbi Lindsay Goldman (Class of 2011)

Middle School Rabbi-in-Residence
Rabbi Goldman, an alumna of The Leffell School (formerly Schechter Westchester), was ordained from the Rabbinical School at the Jewish Theological Seminary in May 2023 with a master’s degree in Jewish Gender and Women’s Studies. Rabbi Goldman earned a Certificate in Pastoral Care and Counseling where she worked with homebound elderly as well as folks in prison reentry programs. She earned her bachelor's degree in General and Special Education from the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University. Prior to joining the Leffell team, Rabbi Goldman served as the Upper School Rabbi-in-Residence at the Golda Och Academy in New Jersey and also taught middle school Rabbinic studies at the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Maryland. Rabbi Goldman loves seeing Broadway shows, traveling the world, and reading new books with her feminist book club. We congratulate Lindsay on her recent engagement to Gabriel Richman.
