Diana Schutt Franklin (MS 1982)
Director of Lower School Admissions
Diana Schutt Franklin is a Leffell School graduate and has always called The Leffell School home. After receiving her BA in psychology from Emory University and her MS in special education from the College of New Rochelle, Diana returned as a Limudei Kodesh (Judaic Studies) special education teacher. Although she left her teaching position for a few years to raise three children — who are all Leffell School alumni — Diana remained very involved with the school as a lay leader. During that time she was one of the founders of the Northern Branch of The Leffell School, a Northern Westchester campus of the school that has since returned to our White Plains campus. Diana rejoined the staff of The Leffell School in 2004 when she took her current position as director of Lower School admissions. In addition, Diana is a certified professional life coach, reiki master, and an inspirational speaker with Mosaic of Westchester’s Storytelling Project. Diana enjoys hiking, skiing, reading, and spending time with her new husband and their blended family. She looks forward to welcoming you to our community!
