The Leffell School, I attended and graduated from Harvard College. I then returned to New York, where I worked in strategy consulting at Bain & Company and now work in private equity at Charlesbank Capital Partners. Through the years since my High School graduation, my Leffell School education has proven instrumental. At Harvard, my Leffell School education gave me the tools to succeed in the classroom, including graduating with highest honors in economics, as well as outside of the classroom, where my experience was defined in part by the robust Jewish identity and love for Israel fostered through Lev v’Nefesh and much more. One of my first professional experiences was interning in Tel Aviv after my sophomore year, through a program — Onward Israel — that was introduced to me by fellow Leffell School alumni.
The relationships that I formed at The Leffell School remain as important now as they were when I met many of my friends on the Lower School campus 20+ years ago. Those friendships evolved from High School Shabbatonim to college weekends visiting one another to Shabbat dinners in New York, and now to the first weddings and simchas of my classmates. The values imparted at The Leffell School continue to define me too, inspiring me to take volunteer leadership roles at UJA-Federation of New York and NYPACE, a pro bono consulting organization. The Leffell School prepares its students to achieve anything and to become leaders in both the Jewish and secular worlds.
